The coastal city of Fort Myers has a diverse character all it own with an eclectic blend of old and new that both intrigues the eyes and delights the spirits. The City of Fort Myers encompasses about 540 acres and has a population of aproximately 50,000 residents but like most major metropolitan areas it services the populations of many smaller surrouding cities and communities that are drawn to its art galleries, museums, live theatre, restaurants, unique shops, parks and so much more.

Transportation: Conveniently located on the Southwest Florida Gulf Coast between Naples and Sarasota you can easily reach Fort Myers By Land, By Sea or By Air. By land, the two major North South Highway corridors of U.S. 41 and Interstate 75 run through and are easily accessable for travel and commuting.  By Sea, there are many deep-water marinas and dockages for those who prefer travel via their motor or sailing yachts. And by Air, the recently expanded Southwest Regional International airport offers daily flights to almost anywhere in the world.

The Historic city of Fort Myers was established in 1886 at the point where the Caloosahatchee River flows into Pine Island Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The "City of Palms" got its name from it's many Royal Palm lined streets that were first planted during the beautification efforts begun by Tomas & Mina Edison and Tootie McGregor in the late 1800's.  You can enjoy the continued results of these efforts, especially when you drive down McGregor Boulevard under the towering Royal Palms that stretch ahead as far as you can see.
